About NABUHA
NABUHA is a multi-generational community brand based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We facilitate systems, spaces, and tools that help people turn identity into recognition. We do that through signature fragrances, bespoke custom garments, apparel, hands-on educational workshops, and a monthly community gathering called Vibe and Thrive.
NABUHA represents the belief that who you come from and who you are actively building yourself to be are both worth celebrating. We sit at the intersection of craft, culture, and wellness, serving anyone who is doing the work of showing up fully as themselves.
NABUHA is rooted in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a primary focus on the East Bay including Oakland and Alameda. Our community events and workshops are centered here, though our products and mission extend beyond the Bay.
Anyone who believes their identity is worth building on. We serve artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, students, families, and anyone figuring out how to bring who they are into the world. NABUHA is multi-generational and open to everyone, regardless of background or cultural heritage.
Follow us on Instagram at @nabuha.sanctum, fill out our contact form to get on our list, or attend Vibe and Thrive any 2nd Saturday in the East Bay. We announce events, drops, and new programs through Instagram first.
Vibe and Thrive
Vibe and Thrive is NABUHA's flagship monthly community gathering. It's a live third space for artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, and the broader Bay Area community. Every event features local artistry showcases, a hands-on creative activity, and cause-driven programming at free or low-cost admission so the community can actually show up.
Vibe and Thrive happens every 2nd Saturday of the month, 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at rotating venues across Oakland and Alameda in the East Bay. The inaugural event is June 13, 2026. Follow @nabuha.sanctum on Instagram for venue announcements each month.
We use a sliding scale so everyone can show up. Students with a valid ID get in free. First-time attendees get in free. General admission is $5 to $20 sliding scale. A Supporter tier at $25 or more helps fund future events. Vendor and artist tables are $25 to $50.
Yes. We actively look for local vendors and artists for each event. Tables run $25 to $50. Fill out our contact form or follow @nabuha.sanctum for application announcements before each event.
We look for local performers, spoken word artists, musicians, and visual artists every month. Reach out through our contact form with your name, what you do, and a link to your work. We'll review and follow up before the next event cycle.
Workshops
We offer two tracks: campus workshops for K-12 schools, community colleges, and universities, and community workshops for organizations, nonprofits, and public programs. All workshops are wellness and creative identity-focused, hands-on, and customized to the audience in the room.
Yes. We work with K-12 schools, community colleges, universities, nonprofits, and community organizations across the Bay Area. Fill out the inquiry form on our Workshops page or the contact form on our About page to start the conversation.
Pricing starts at $150 per hour and varies based on session length, audience size, scope, and organizational budget. We work with schools and community groups to find something that fits, including flexible options for organizations with limited resources.
Tell us about your school, organization, or event through the contact form on our About page or the Workshop Inquiry on our Workshops page. We'll follow up and put together a proposal that fits your community.
Not at all. Our workshops serve anyone doing identity work, regardless of background. We teach with communities, not at them. The content adapts to the people in the room and has been delivered to diverse student and community populations across the Bay Area.
Products
We offer signature fragrances ($85 to $115), branded apparel and merch ($25 to $115), and bespoke custom garments made to order. All products are culturally inspired and built around the idea that what you wear and how you scent yourself are extensions of identity.
Custom garment pricing depends on scope, materials, and complexity. We work with each client individually to design and build something around their vision. Reach out through our contact form to start a custom garment inquiry and we'll discuss your project.
We recommend budgeting 2 to 5 months from start to final fitting, depending on complexity and availability. Rush options are available for an additional fee. See the Custom Garments section below for the full process breakdown.
NABUHA products are available directly through nabuha.com/shop. For custom garment inquiries, use the contact form at nabuha.com/about. For fragrance and merch availability and drop announcements, follow @nabuha.sanctum.
Custom Garments
Every custom begins with an idea. Come to us with a photo, sketch, reference image, mood board, or even a loose concept and we'll work with you to develop it. Once we have a clear creative direction, we'll move into finalizing the design together before anything is cut or constructed.
After the design is finalized, we schedule an initial appointment to take your measurements. Most custom garments require 3 to 5 separate fittings to complete. Each fitting is a hands-on checkpoint where we adjust fit, proportion, and construction until the garment is exactly where it needs to be.
We require a $50 deposit to begin any design work or drafting agreements. Once production is confirmed, half of the remaining balance is due before production begins. The final payment is collected at the last fitting, before the garment is picked up or delivered. All custom garment payments are non-refundable.
No. All payments on custom garments, including the initial deposit, are non-refundable. Custom work is designed and built specifically for you, which requires significant time, materials, and labor from the start. The multi-fitting process exists to make sure you're fully satisfied before the garment is ever finished.
We recommend budgeting 2 to 5 months from the start of the process to your final fitting, depending on the complexity of the design and our current production schedule. If you have a specific date or event in mind, tell us upfront. Rush options are available for an additional fee.
Fill out the contact form at nabuha.com/about and tell us what you have in mind. Include any reference images or inspiration if you have them. We'll follow up to schedule your initial design consultation and go from there.
Sanctum Select
Sanctum Select is a mutual support platform and curated directory built on real relationships. Every listing is someone NABUHA has personally worked with and believes in. When you're listed, your work gets visible to our entire community through nabuha.com. In return, you carry the NABUHA name into your own work and your own spaces. It runs both ways: we amplify you, you represent us.
Listings are reserved for people and businesses NABUHA has worked with directly: event collaborators, workshop partners, artists who've performed at Vibe and Thrive, vendors, service providers, and creatives who've been part of what NABUHA is building. We don't list people we haven't personally engaged with. That's what makes the directory trustworthy.
Sanctum Select is built on mutual support. You get a trusted NABUHA endorsement, active referrals from the community, searchable visibility by skill and specialty on nabuha.com, connection to NABUHA's network of events and partners, and a permanent professional reference. In return, you represent NABUHA as a brand ambassador in your own work and your own community. That two-way relationship is what makes the directory valuable. Listings are completely free, no cost to apply.
Fill out the application form at nabuha.com/sanctum-select. The form asks about your work, your skills, your connection to NABUHA, and why you want to be listed. Every application is reviewed personally by the NABUHA team. We'll follow up directly within 5 to 7 business days if your application moves forward.
No. Listings are completely free for approved entries. Sanctum Select is not pay-to-play. You don't buy your way in. Inclusion is based on the quality of your work and your relationship with NABUHA.
The NABUHA team reviews every application against our direct experience working with the applicant. Priority goes to people we've collaborated with on events, workshops, products, or creative projects. Not every application will be approved, and we may reach out with questions before making a decision. If your application is not approved at this time, it doesn't mean the door is closed permanently.
Current categories include: Artist, Catering & Food, DJ, Educator, Entrepreneur, Performer, Photographer, Venue & Space, Vendor, Videographer, and Wellness. If your work doesn't fit a category listed, note that in your application and we'll determine the best fit together.
Yes. If you know a vendor, creative, or entrepreneur you think belongs in the directory, use the contact form at nabuha.com/about to send their name and what they do. We review every nomination and will reach out to them directly if it's a fit.
The Sanctum Select page at nabuha.com/sanctum-select has a live search bar and category filter. You can search by name, skill, specialty, location, or any keyword that describes what you're looking for. Results update in real time. You can also filter by category to narrow your search.
